At The a2 Milk Company, we’re looking for a curious, creative, and motivated Assistant Brand Manager to join our high-performing global marketing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their career to work in a global FMCG business, alongside experienced marketers in a hands-on brand role with real ownership and impact.
Whether you're in your first marketing role and ready for the next step or already working as an Assistant Brand Manager looking for more scope, this role offers valuable, broad experience - exposure to a range of marketing disciplines, cross-functional collaboration, and a chance to work on a truly differentiated, purpose-led brand.
What your day will look like:
- Supporting the Group Brand team to bring our brand, science, and sustainability stories to life
- Supporting cross-functional teams and external agencies to create compelling communication and other brand assets
- Helping build and protect brand equity and global consistency by developing and evolving brand guidelines, visual identity, and toolkits
- Supporting brand initiatives across consumer, employee, community, and investor audiences
- Leading the organisation of brand assets and internal digital content systems
- Assisting with internal communications, EVP messaging, and internal campaign delivery
More about You:
based in our beautiful North Sydney a2 Milk offices, this role will tap into your passion for communication and true custodianship of our amazing brand. Your background and skills will ideally look like;
- 1–2 years’ experience in a marketing, brand, or communications role – ideally within FMCG, consumer health, retail, or similar
- Digital literacy with some experience in managing websites and other online channels
- A marketing or communications degree (or similar qualification)
- Strong project management skills, attention to detail, and a proactive mindset
- Great communication skills and a collaborative working style
- Eagerness to learn, a positive attitude, and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
