About the role:
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and solutions-focused Infrastructure Support Analyst to join our team, supporting a2 Nutritionals NZ Ltd in Pokeno.
This is a hands-on role at the heart of our IT operations, where you’ll play a key part in maintaining and enhancing our infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security across the business. From troubleshooting day-to-day issues to supporting system improvements, you’ll be a trusted partner to our teams on the ground.

We are ideally looking for someone to work an afternoon shift; e.g. 11am - 7pm.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Providing onsite IT support across a range of technologies including end-user devices, Microsoft 365, video conferencing, IP phones, and printers
- Supporting user onboarding, including hardware and software setup, and delivering basic IT training and guidance
- Assisting with server and network-related activities, including backups, system monitoring, and security awareness
- Managing IT assets across their lifecycle—from planning and procurement through to deployment and tracking
- Supporting system administration tasks such as user access, security roles, and general maintenance
- Contributing to infrastructure projects and upgrades (e.g. servers, Active Directory, Group Policy, OS updates, CCTV, and licensing)
- Assisting with application license management and maintaining accurate records
- Supporting mobile device management across the organisation
What you will bring:
- A tertiary qualification in IT, with at least 2+ years’ relevant experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and user environments
- Solid understanding of Microsoft technologies including Windows OS, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and basic networking
- Exposure to cloud environments and infrastructure projects is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the business
- A proactive, customer-focused approach and a genuine willingness to learn and grow
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work under pressure
