Your role:
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an Inventory Controller to join our New Zealand-based Supply Chain team, based at Pokeno, Waikato.
Reporting to the Site Supply Chain Manager, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring inventory accuracy, optimisation, and visibility across our operations. This role is key to enabling efficient manufacturing, meeting customer demand, and supporting broader supply chain performance while minimising cost, waste, and risk.
You’ll work closely with manufacturing, quality, technical, logistics, and external partners to ensure inventory is well controlled, compliant, and continuously improving.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Maintain accurate inventory records across ERP and inventory management systems
- Conduct cycle counts and stocktakes, investigating and reconciling discrepancies
- Analyse inventory data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to support timely replenishment
- Manage slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory to minimise write-offs and waste
- Prepare inventory reporting including stock valuation, ageing, accuracy, and turnover
- Support S&OP processes through inventory forecasting and gap analysis
- Track and report on key inventory KPIs such as accuracy, shrinkage, and turnover
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, automation, and system enhancements
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements
What you will bring:
- 2–5+ years’ experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain roles
- Broad knowledge of inventory management, supply chain, and logistics processes
- Experience working with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
- Advanced Excel capability with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively across manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related discipline (preferred)
