We’re now looking for an experienced Production / Manufacturing Team Leader from a food or beverage environment who is ready to step into a key leadership role within a high-performing dairy operation.

More about the Role; 

This role is a lot more than shift supervision. Reporting to the Production & Continuous Improvement Manager, you’ll lead a team of approximately 20 team members (including two Leading Hands) across processing, packaging and warehouse operations. You will have the opportunity to not only grow a success-driven career but get involved in strategy with a key focus on quality across the site.

You will:

 • Lead daily production delivery, scheduling and execution
 • Drive safety, quality and compliance standards (HACCP, GMP)
 • Partner closely with Maintenance, Quality and Supply Chain
 • Own labour utilisation, performance and engagement outcomes
 • Coach and develop future leaders within your team

This is a salaried leadership role, offering flexibility and requiring management across shifts when required. Our Leading Hands manage shift coverage, and we value leaders who are adaptable and outcome-focused to drive leadership, collaboration and productivity.

What you’ll bring

We’re looking for a self-driven, hands-on operational leader who understands what great looks like on the floor.

Must have:
 • Experience in food manufacturing (FMCG) – ideally bottling or beverage environments
 • Experience leading teams in a unionised site
 • Strong safety leadership and continuous improvement mindset
 • Proven accountability for quality outcomes
 • Experience managing labour allocation and operational performance

Highly regarded:
 • Lean Manufacturing knowledge (5 Why, DMAIC, CI projects)
 • Exposure to high-volume FMCG environments (e.g. dairy, beverage, or similar)
 • Experience working across multiple shifts in dynamic production settings
