Your Impact:
Reporting to the Senior Regulatory Compliance Manager – ANZ and based in Auckland, NZ, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and functionality of raw materials used in our infant nutrition products.
You will collaborate across teams to maintain the highest standards in ingredient sourcing, regulatory compliance, and market access requirements.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Lead the onboarding and approval of new raw materials, ensuring alignment with regulatory and customer standards.
- Partner with Regulatory Affairs to ensure compliance with market requirements.
- Maintain and update raw material databases, keeping specifications current and aligned with regulatory changes.
- Develop and implement raw material qualification and risk assessment processes.
- Collaborate with Product Development teams to assess and introduce new raw materials for innovation and reformulation.
- Provide technical expertise on raw material attributes and compliance matters.
- Establish and maintain robust raw material specifications, ensuring alignment with internal policies, regulatory standards, and customer expectations.
What you will bring:
- 7-10 years of industry experience in dairy or nutritionals, with a deep understanding of raw material sourcing, compliance, and formulation.
- Expertise in ingredient functionality and formulation requirements for infant nutrition.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proficiency in data management and documentation systems for raw material specifications.
- Meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance and quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Knowledge of supplier quality and raw material functionality.
- Experience with GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative) systems is desirable.
