The Role:
As a key leader in ensuring food safety excellence, based at our Pokeno Factory, you will be responsible for leading and managing the food safety strategy and compliance of factory operations to ensure zero food safety-related defects.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Designing and delivering effective food safety training and interventions to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety requirements.
- Formulating, implementing, and monitoring hygiene policies, HACCP systems, and pre-requisite programs to prevent allergens, chemical, microbiological, nutritional, and physical hazards.
- Leading factory adherence to global quality compliance standards and supporting the resolution of food safety issues using proven tools and methodologies.
- Analysing trends and results to develop continuous improvement plans and driving initiatives to achieve zero food safety defects.
- Managing verification, audit activities, and ensuring effective implementation of the a2MC Quality Management System.
- Playing an active role in embedding the Quality Pillar in the factory culture and practices.
What you will bring:
- Broad knowledge of food processing, cGMP regulations, and food microbiology.
- Demonstrated experience in food manufacturing, with experience in infant nutrition companies being mandatory.
- Expertise in HACCP studies, pre-requisite programs, zoning, and pathogen monitoring principles.
- Strong leadership skills, with excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
- Problem-solving skills and the ability to apply tools and methodologies to prevent and resolve food safety issues.
- Relevant qualifications in food science, food technology, or related disciplines.
