About the role:
We are looking for a Training Coordinator to join our Blending & Canning team in Pokeno. This role is responsible for coordinating and supporting training and competency development across the production environment, ensuring our people have the skills, knowledge and capability required to safely produce high-quality products in a highly regulated manufacturing setting.
Working closely with Shift Managers and operational teams, you will play a key role in maintaining training systems, facilitating assessments, coordinating external training requirements and ensuring compliance with site, quality and regulatory standards.
More specifically, you will be involved in:
- Coordinating training activities across shifts, ensuring resources and training requirements are aligned with operational needs
- Maintaining and updating SOPs, training matrices, competency assessments and training profiles
- Facilitating SOP training, assessments and competency sign-offs across the production teams
- Conducting training gap analyses and supporting capability development initiatives
- Managing training records, certificates and employee learning data within ELMO
- Acting as the primary contact for ITO coordination, assessments and learner support
- Liaising with external training providers and coordinating required certifications and courses
- Supporting process validation audits, investigations and continuous improvement initiatives as required
What you will bring:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, food production or FMCG environment
- Experience coordinating training, competency frameworks or workforce capability programmes
- Strong understanding of quality, compliance and health & safety requirements within a regulated environment
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage people at all levels
- Experience using learning management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge of dairy, infant formula or powder processing environments would be advantageous
